Writer’s block………..
Well I really don’t have much to write, but I figured I would write a little something just to let people know I am still alive. School is done for the summer and it is finally getting nice outside, so I haven’t been in front of the computer itching to blog. Here is my life in a nutshell:
This weekend is the annual college roommate reunion / camping trip, and I can’t wait! It will be good to just chill for a weekend, and recharge. This will be the first year I will have a camera with me, so finally I will be able to take pictures!
Last night I went to my first concert of the 2006, which is pretty sad because by this time last year I had probably seen 10 shows already. Rupe got free tickets to the Train / Anna Nalick show at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse. I really enjoyed Anna Nalick and Train was ok. I liked the first Train album but that is about it, but the tix were free so I’m not complaining. We had front row seats but decided to hang back because it is such a small place, and any where you sit isn’t all that bad. Plus I really didn’t need to see the lead singer of Train that close, because he is one ugly bastard……..not to mention he must weigh in at about 98.2 lbs soaking wet……. Apparently he is married (to a girl), but he could of fooled me by the way he prances around the stage like a princess………….but I guess girls like that? Anyways I wanted to hear one song called “Free” then we bounced out of there.
On our way back to the car we walked by the dance club called “FUEL” and heard a band practicing above the club. There was a bar across the street with a deck type setup so we decided to grab a drink and listen to the band practice for a bit. I don’t know who this band was (if you are reading this and know of a band that practices above the dance club Fuel in Armory Square, Syracuse NY let me know) but they were rocking out! We sat there and listened to them play “Shine on you crazy diamond” parts 1-7 probably better than Pink Floyd could ever play it! Anyways sorry to get off on a tangent but I figured I would share that with you all lol.
So that’s about it, we have booked a couple acoustic gigs at Eddie O’briens in beautiful downtown Canandaigua NY for later this summer ( I will post dates on this site shortly ) so if you are in the area stop by!
later……

Great, writer’s block seems to be going around this summer season and I believe I may be catching it too. I’m always going to blog as much as I can but one thing I’m looking to improve on for the summer is to expand my photography. Take more photos that is.

Yeah I am looking forward to taking pics this weekend while camping (if the weather is nice!). The spot where we camp is right on the water in the middle of no where, so I should be able to get some good water/outdoor shots.
