I hate dear flies!
Well I survived the 6th annual Alfred Crew Camping trip! We went to a different spot this year instead of our regular spot up in Redfield. I guess the nearest town (if you call it a town) was called “Taberg” which is like 30 Minutes North West of Sylvan Beach. Anyways the spot was cool , but the black flies and dear flies were horrible. I have so many bites its not even funny. I had about 3 layers of 3 different kinds of bug repelant on and nothing worked! Atleast we could drive right to this campsite intead of having to boat to it. The weather was awesome! Too bad the body of water that we were on wasnt really water you wanted to go swimming in. We ended up taking a trip to find a swimming hole at a near by bridge on Fish Creek I believe. Anyways everyone survived the trip and made it home. To see pics click here
