Could It Be Satan?
Well if you haven’t realized today is 6.6.6; The Number of The Beast. No, Iron Maiden did not invent this, it was written in the final book of the New Testament, Revelation. Revelation speaks of impending Armageddon, an end of all time war between good and evil, where God triumphs. In the book of Revelation, “the beast”, or Antichrist, personifies evil.
Revelation speaks of the beast, and also how to identify its followers. Revelation Verses 16 and 17 state that all followers will have the mark or name or number of the beast on their right hands or foreheads. Verse 18 states that number; 666……..”Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
No Mom, I didn’t know this stuff off the top of my head, I looked it up. So if you’re sitting in your cubicles today and feel like letting go, crank up the Iron Maiden (I shouldn’t have to tell you which song) and throw the mano cornuta in the air!

As a kid, I was constantly told about how “666″ always related to Satan but I never fully understood the concept. It’s actually in the Bible.
