No this post is not about some lame boy-band, so just stop right there if you were expecting to hear about Nick Lachey. Speaking of lame boy-bands……. why is it so surprising that Lance “I like ass” Bass is gay? He was the bass singer for a band who called themselves “NSYNC”. Ok sorry to get off topic, back to important things…….
Is it me, or has this summer been ungodly hot in upstate NY? As I am writing this post it is 11:30 AM, and according to weather.com it is already 91 degrees and “feels like 106 Degrees F”. It was 82 degrees in my apartment when I left my this morning! Compare that to Orlando, Florida which is currently at 88 degrees….. or Los Angeles, California where it is 74 and feels like 74? What gives?
Another thing that has really been bothering me is this dude John Basedow………. you know the “Fitness made simple” guy? I would post a pic of him….. but I can’t stomach the thought of his photo on my site. He is a self-proclaimed “fitness celebrity”…….. how does one become a “fitness celebrity”? Can I call myself a “fitness celebrity”? or would that require working out? How bout I call myself the “unfitness celebrity”? I can here the jingle now…….”unfitness made simple….. unfitness made simple”. For $29.99 you can buy my DVD which features 8 full hours of me sitting on the couch watching re-runs of CSI… eating the occasional bag of SunChips, and Hint-o-Lime Tostitos. Ugh I can’t stand it……. my dog even cries when those commercials come on. I think John Basedow is really the devil and the reason it is so damn hot out lately…….. You know how there are those Chuck Norris sites, that say Chuck Norris can do anything? I think there should be a similar site for John Basedow except where we blame all the worlds problems on John Basedow……. That would be cool! Ok I’m done…

Well I really don’t have much to write, but I figured I would write a little something just to let people know I am still alive. School is done for the summer and it is finally getting nice outside, so I haven’t been in front of the computer itching to blog. Here is my life in a nutshell:
This weekend is the annual college roommate reunion / camping trip, and I can’t wait! It will be good to just chill for a weekend, and recharge. This will be the first year I will have a camera with me, so finally I will be able to take pictures!

I’m sure this is all Bono’s doing, so Adam, Larry, and The Edge are all off the hook; but why in the hell would you ruin my favorite U2 song “One” by collaborating with Mary J. Blige???? No offense Mary, but I don’t need to hear how many octaves you can hit, how many syllables you can put into the word “one”, or how huge your ghetto onion is. I never understood why people like Mary J. Blige, and I guess I never will. Absolutely horrible! And of course for $1.99 you can download the video from iTunes, and see the whole debauchery yourself!
Skip iTunes and download this version. This is probably the best version of “One” I have ever heard. I think it is from the MTV video awards or something, and best of all I won’t charge you $1.99………it’s free. At least until Bono hunts me down and sues me.

Another Ferrari is destroyed in California, this time killing the driver (an off duty police officer) and his passenger. Obviously ‘93 Ferrari Testarossas and telephone poles don’t mix. When will people learn? People should go through a course before getting behind the wheels of these cars!!
The Testarossa (which means red head by the way) had a 4.9L V12 engine with over 420hp and only weighed 3650lbs!!!! Let me put that into perspective for ya, my 1999 Z24 cavalier has like 140hp (going downhill with a tailwind) and weighs 3660lbs…………….
I’m talking horsepower to weight ratio’s here people! Crazy…….
“The Ferrari may have been traveling at high speed when the driver lost control” hmm that seems to always be the case! No way……….Idiots!!!!
I don’t like to see people die, but come on! Atleast they didn’t kill anyone else.

Ah what to write what to write, there hasn’t been very much going on lately. I am on class #4 at the Art Institute of Pitt, 5 more weeks and I am done for the summer! I can’t wait. There is still no lady in Brett land, but I am working on it (whatever that means). I kind of like being single right now anyways. I “cleaned out” my flickr account, and got rid of a bunch of pictures, so if you see pictures missing that is why. Work is getting super crazy as usual. Summer is always busy in the Archie/engineering industry, because that is when everything gets built (at least in NY).
