Well after some thinking, some talking, some more thinking, some beer, and then some more thinking, I have decided that I want am going to release a CD. I say that like it’s as easy as changing your underwear, but I really think that I can do it on a reasonable scale. Now to most of my friends this is probably nothing new, but I figured that if I blog about it I may have more ambition to actually finish it. I have not always had the greatest confidence in my singing/songwriting, but I have decided to give it shot. After talking with Sweens, we came up with a “game plan” of sorts, and a direction to head in. The writing and recording part is not what I am worried about, however I know absolutely nothing about the actual “I’m going to call this a CD and sell it to people” part of things, so I am going to have to do my homework! Here are a few photos from my trip home for the Memorial Day weekend. It has probably been a couple years since we have had a bon-fire party out to Tracey’s, it was good to see everyone and sitting on the beach burning pallets (and all of Gina’s old clothes?) brought back memories! Now it’s back to work!

I’m sure this is all Bono’s doing, so Adam, Larry, and The Edge are all off the hook; but why in the hell would you ruin my favorite U2 song “One” by collaborating with Mary J. Blige???? No offense Mary, but I don’t need to hear how many octaves you can hit, how many syllables you can put into the word “one”, or how huge your ghetto onion is. I never understood why people like Mary J. Blige, and I guess I never will. Absolutely horrible! And of course for $1.99 you can download the video from iTunes, and see the whole debauchery yourself!
Skip iTunes and download this version. This is probably the best version of “One” I have ever heard. I think it is from the MTV video awards or something, and best of all I won’t charge you $1.99………it’s free. At least until Bono hunts me down and sues me.

Have you noticed that in the wake of the recent round 4 9 Rules submission, that the bloggers of the world have been increasing the quality of their entries? This kind of reminds me of how everyone actually shows up to work on time during the yearly employee review process. Don’t get me wrong I think it’s great, I just think it is interesting how one network can affect so many sites. I guess next week 9 Rules will be listing the sites that made it, so good luck to everyone! BTW… yes I did submit my site! Although I highly doubt I will make it, it was still worth a shot.

Another Ferrari is destroyed in California, this time killing the driver (an off duty police officer) and his passenger. Obviously ‘93 Ferrari Testarossas and telephone poles don’t mix. When will people learn? People should go through a course before getting behind the wheels of these cars!!
The Testarossa (which means red head by the way) had a 4.9L V12 engine with over 420hp and only weighed 3650lbs!!!! Let me put that into perspective for ya, my 1999 Z24 cavalier has like 140hp (going downhill with a tailwind) and weighs 3660lbs…………….
I’m talking horsepower to weight ratio’s here people! Crazy…….
“The Ferrari may have been traveling at high speed when the driver lost control” hmm that seems to always be the case! No way……….Idiots!!!!
I don’t like to see people die, but come on! Atleast they didn’t kill anyone else.
